Rev. Rylan Brue
Senior Pastor
Pastor Rylan started serving at Borculo in August of 2025 after receiving his MDiv from Calvin Theological Seminary. A native of Northwest Iowa, he loves the life of the church and getting to study and teach the Bible every week.
“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law” (Psalm 119:18).
Phyllis Alferink
Lead Musician & Organist
Phyllis was seven years old when she began her musical career. She started playing organ for church services when she turned sixteen, and has served Borculo CRC as organist for fifty years. She has played for many weddings, the first being Cal and Sally Brandsen’s. She has also played for many funerals, saying goodbye to the many saints of this church.
